Paradoxa Collective

Paradoxa Collective was formed in 2015 by four Australian contemporary visual artists: Penelope Aitken, Anna Farago, Siri Hayes and Susan Wirth. Working individually and collaboratively across the disciplines of design, textiles, painting, photography and video performance, they share an interest in connecting to natural sites through practical restoration and bushland regeneration activities in the peri-urban, outer north east of Melbourne. Collectively Paradoxa artists use site based natural and other found materials to make art that reflects connections between people and place.
