We run Salsa & Bachata dance classes and parties at various premium venues around Melbourne. We have events every Friday and most Saturdays. We also run events every public holiday eve as well as random pop-up events during the holiday season including beach-side outdoor parties & rooftop parties. All of our events have beginner friendly classes to start the night, followed by the party or "social dancing".
FRIDAYS - OYE LATINO
We run FREE beginner Salsa and Bachata classes to start the party at Oye Latino at The Albion Rooftop & Club in South Melbourne. It's nightclub vibes and classes are a bit more rowdy and casual. Class content is easy, fun social moves that you can use straight away. We run level 1 and 2 classes on opposite sides of the room for each dance style at 7pm and 8pm. After classes we have non-stop Salsa & Bachata from 9:00pm to 11:00pm, then we can head upstairs for more social dancing until after midnight. Entry is FREE all night!
SATURDAYS - LATIN OBSESSION & BACHATA OBSESSION
Our main events are our Saturday nights which attract dancers of all levels of experience, from first-timers to Melbourne's finest.
We run Latin Obsession and Bachata Obsession at The Space Dance & Arts Centre on Chapel St. in Prahran. It has a huge beautiful polished floor, and is the best social venue available to Melbourne's dance scene. Catch us here 2 Saturdays a month!
Look out for our other special events, collab event, theme nights, pyjama party, glow-in-the-dark party, dress-up themes etc! We usually transition to Reggaeton, RnB and retro 80s & 90's after we've had enough Salsa & Bachata!
If you've ever wanted to give Salsa or Bachata a go, our events are the perfect introduction as we provide a fun, friendly environment in very relaxed settings. It's much more fun learning to dance with a drink or two rather than learning in an intimidating dance studio. Bring a friend, a date, a crew, or just yourself. We usually have discounts for full-time students and for bigger group bookings, just get in touch with us.
