Irene Nicola

Irene is a cross-genre performer, deconstructing, recreating, and inventing music, stand-up, script, song and burlesque.

She has performed across Sydney, Melbourne, Hobart, and Adelaide, as writer, performer, composer and producer of A Postmodern Striptease, one-woman cabaret show (2013-2015). Other works include Minora SINE Majora: Why Did She Leave Me?, a short cabaret about love and loss, appearing in the WITS Festival Fatale 2016 and composing the music for Black Sambuca and The Girl Who Poured It, for stage and screen.

Current projects include the sassy jazz duo, A Royal Uprising and a new EP in the works.
