A Young Woman’s Drive To Make A Difference

‘Fashion For Ability – Not Disability’ was established in 2016 by Ilinka Brankovic, a young woman with an ambition to create a safe yet invigorating space where other young women with disabilities could explore the world of fashion to build their self esteem and confidence. The aim was to be able to help other young women embrace the art of how to ‘Dress for Success’ in both their personal and professional lives.

Growing Interest From Members

The group has now grown from a small humble group of friends, to a growing Facebook following with young women joining the group weekly. The members are now asking for more opportunities to meet other young women, learn more about fashion and to keep building their skills, networks and confidence. With this in mind, the ‘Fashion For Ability – Not Disability’ group has now taken its next step and opening its membership to our online community so that more young women from across Australia and the world can join us. With a new line up of interactive workshops, podcasts and events, Ilinka, together with the growing Fashion For Ability’s team want to leave their high heel footprint in the world with a focus on helping all young women live their lives fashioned with a strong sense of self confidence.
