Founded in 1881 in the village of Iittala, Finland, Iittala is a renowned Nordic design house celebrated for its timeless glassware, ceramics, and home objects. With a philosophy rooted in lasting design over fleeting trends, Iittala has collaborated with iconic creators such as Alvar Aalto, Kaj Franck, and Oiva Toikka. The Alvar Aalto vase, first unveiled at the 1937 Paris World's Fair, remains one of the most recognizable objects in Scandinavian design.
