Heat Events Rural Qld

Finally Rural Queensland has events where everyone, no matter who or what you are, can have events that you can be yourself in a safe and comfortable environment. All our events even though they are LGBTI friendly, are all inclusive so no matter if you are straight, gay queer, transgender ect you are welcome to come and enjoy. Maybe you need a break away from everyday life, maybe you want to find out where in the community you sort of fit. These events are about self discovery of who you are. They will allow you to be you without judgement and a place where you can "come out" so to speak. This and many more reasons are why our events are the places to go to.

The events will be held at regular intervals through out the year and will include Monthly BBQs, Dance Parties, Social Gatherings and more. We will be using any surplus funds raised to provide support services to the Rural and Outback Qld LGBTI communities. These will include services such as counselling, family support, health and more.

The Association will have teams and mentors put in place to create events and support services for specific groups. These will include Bear groups, Lesbian groups, Transgender groups, Bisexual groups, Gay youth groups ect as we all need time to connect with our own part of the community as a whole. Rural and Outback Queensland is a very Large area as well so there will be events happening all over it in the very near future.

Some events will allow younger (15 - 17) people as long as they are accompanied by a responsible adult preferably a parent or guardian.
