Green Square and Community Spaces Project

The Green Square Public School and Community Spaces is being delivered by the NSW Government in partnership with the City of Sydney. It will provide new classrooms and core facilities to meet local enrolment demand as well as a range of spaces for community use.

The school is being built on the former Royal South Sydney Hospital site on Joynton Avenue. This project is jointly funded by the NSW Government and the City of Sydney and will include flexible classrooms, a library and canteen, staff rooms, administrative offices and amenities, a covered outdoor learning area (COLA), multipurpose spaces (community and shared spaces), Out of School Hours care (OOSH), a games court and adjacent courtyard (shared spaces).

This project is jointly funded by the NSW Government and City of Sydney and will include:

• 24 flexible teaching spaces
• a library and canteen
• staff rooms, administrative offices and amenities
• a covered outdoor learning area (COLA)
• multipurpose spaces (community and shared spaces)
• out of school hours care (OSHC)
• a games court and adjacent courtyard (shared spaces)
• a communal hall (shared space).

Green Square and Community Spaces Information Sessions 2024

Please join us at the Tote, Ground Floor Function Room, 100 Joynton Ave, Zetland to learn about the Green Square Public School and the new community spaces. The sessions will provide an opportunity to receive updates on construction, meet the principal, Nicole Molloy and learn about the temporary site arrangements, enrolment and orientation plans for next year.

Please join us at the Tote, Ground Floor Function Room, 100 Joynton Ave, Zetland to learn about the Green Square Public School and the new community spaces. The sessions will provide an opportunity to receive updates on construction, meet the principal, Nicole Molloy and learn about the temporary site arrangements, enrolment and orientation plans for next year.

We will also discuss the school's vision and plans to involve the community in shaping its culture and identity. This is a great opportunity for prospective parents to ask questions and meet other families joining the school. We will be holding four information sessions over two days.

Places are limited to 50 participants per session visit and bookings are required.
