Goodna State School's STEAM HQ
The GSS STEAM HQ is a place where all things Science, Technologies, Engineering, Art and Mathematics can occur for students and educators alike.
GSS's STEAM HQ PD Team runs teacher professional development for pre-service and in-service teachers in the Ipswich and surrounding areas. PDs included a digital technologies focus with different sessions using Bee-Bots, Micro:bit, Makey Makey, Merge Cube and Scratch as well as eLearning PDs using Plickers, Seesaw and Book Creator.
These professional developments aim to up-skill teachers in the use of various technologies linked to the Australian Curriculum Digital Technologies curriculum, ICT cross curriculum priorities and eLearning pedagogies.
