Born from a great passion for a film the 2016 FLEURIEU FILM FESTIVAL presented short films under ten minutes in duration reflecting the inaugural theme of Landscapes. The 2017 Fleurieu Film Festival saw filmmakers express the theme of Water. The 2018 Fleurieu Film Festival will again be remarkable with this year’s theme, Fire.

Growing in popularity the 2017 Fleurieu Film Festival moved from its original venue to the majestic grounds of the Serafino Winery in McLaren Vale. The 2018 FFF will again set itself amongst the beautiful vines and 200 year old gum trees.

Since its inception, the Fleurieu Film Festival’s Patron is 800 Words actor and Fleurieu Peninsular resident and Erik Thomson.

A prestigious judging panel comprising of local and internationally acclaimed professionals; such as theatre, film and television writer Andrew Bovell (screenwriter of the 2001 award winning Lantana) will select this year’s finalists.
