Tanya's personal enjoyment of Pilates and fitness exercising drove her to want to learn more. She completed a Dual Certificate IV in Fitness and Allied Health Assistance with Breathe Education, a registered training organisation specialising in Pilates instructor training. Studies covered Pilates Reformer & Matwork, it also included postural assessment, anatomy and biomechanics, planning and delivering exercise programs and working collaboratively with allied health and fitness professionals. Through her own practice Tanya learned how Pilates could help improve posture & reduce back pain.

Tanya is currently combining Pilates teaching with corporate career in IT. She believes the client focus and communication skills are equally important in the corporate and fitness/health environments.

Tanya is a strong believer in life balance and well-being. She always been committed to an active lifestyle; have been a keen sportsman — I played table tennis for many years and won the Australian Corporate Games® 2004 Table Tennis Singles event. She is enjoying sharing her passion for Pilates with others. Tanya is also teaching at Virgin Active Health Club and Women only gym in Caulfield.
