Dr. David Drake is the founder of Moment Institute and the field of narrative coaching. David is a master coach and has taught this work to over 15,000 leaders, managers and professionals in twenty countries. He has designed and delivered change and coaching projects and services in over 70 organizations. David earned his PhD in Human & Organizational Development from Fielding Graduate University. He has presented to 25 universities and professional associations around the world, including the opening keynote for the first International Coaching Psychology Congress. David is a Fellow and Thought Leader for Institute of Coaching at Harvard.
He is the author of over 50 publications and serves on the Senior Advisory Board for Coaching: An International Journal of Theory, Research and Practice. He is the lead editor of The Philosophy and Practice of Coaching (2008), co-editor of SAGE Handbook of Coaching (2016), and author of Narrative Coaching: The Definitive Guide to Bringing New Stories to Life (2018).
