Dive into Digital

Dive Into Digital (DiD) is a collaboration across Far North Queensland - from Ingham in the south, north to Thursday Island, from Cairns on the coast to Croyden in the west - pooling resources and knowledge to support business and households to understand and better participate in current and emerging digital opportunities. Currently there are two programs running in FNQ & TS:

1. Digital Enterprise Program FNQ & TS

Dive into Digital is pleased to bring the DEP to Cairns and Tropical North Queensland; the program provides free group training and face-to-face support for small-to medium enterprises and not-for-profit organisations, to help improve the way you do business and deliver services online.

2. Go Digital Kuranda

Dive into Digital is proud to be partnering with Mareeba Shire Council and the State Library of Queensland to offer a series of 20 digital business workshops to grow digital economies and market niche businesses in Kuranda.
Kuranda residents and members of Mareeba Shire Library Service (membership is free and open to all!) will be able to access the Go Digital Kuranda workshop timetable and make bookings for the individual sessions at the current Kuranda Library and Council Office from June 2015.

We strongly recommend you register for updates at Dive Into Digital to hear our latest news and your nearest training opportunities as they come up.

Please note that our training session schedules may occasionally need to be changed due to unforseen circumstances and in that case we will notify you using the contact details you provide. Similarly, if you cannot attend a session you have registered for, please let us know.

DiD is a regional consortium led by Regional Development Australia Far North Queensland and Torres Straight (RDAFNQTS). DiD received federal funding to manage the Digital Enterprise Program in the region. The group includes Advance Cairns, Far North Qld Regional Organisation of Councils (FNQROC), Gulf Savannah Development, Cape York Sustainable Futures, Cairns Chamber of Commerce, Digital Economy Cairns and advice provided by TNQ Institute of TAFE. The Kuranda Go Digital program has received financial assistance from the Queensland Government through State Library of Queensland.
