Dani Salvo is an artist and teacher who works from her home studio in Ocean Grove on the Bellarine Peninsular.  Dani has always worked in the arts, as a practising artist, teacher and an arts project worker where she has developed projects to connect young people, cultural communities and older individuals to art and art making.

Earlier in her career she developed and facilitated the Sculpture Program for the Brougham Art School & Gallery.  She later went on to establish the Art and Crafts Program for Diversitat, a Community Organistation in Geelong.  She has written and received grants for a number of community art projects including the entrance gate for Diversitat's Community Garden and 'Lifetime Totems', a Multicultural Senior's Project comprised of a series of totem structures housed within the same garden. Dani found that working with such wonderfully diverse groups has enriched and complimented her own personal practice.

She now works and teaches from her studio in both functional and sculptural ceramics.  She has a broad skill base and her sculptural work incorporates her love for painting and drawing.   Dani has participated in Geelong’s ‘Art After Dark’ and is a member of the Geelong Sculptors Group,  she has taken part in a number of exhibitions to date and also takes private commissions, her ambition is to extend her personal arts practice over the coming years.

Dani has a Bachelor of Arts in Visual Arts- Ceramics and a Graduate Diploma in Secondary Education.
