Cobram Estate has been producing Australia’s most awarded Extra Virgin Olive Oil since 1998. Started by two friends, Rob & Paul who met at agricultural college, what started as a family investment has matured into an Australian owned and Australian grown business, with more than 2.5milion olive trees in North Western Victoria. We plant every tree, pick every olive, and press every bottle of our Extra Virgin Olive Oil- to ensure quality and perfection at every stage. We are driven by sustainability and set ourselves a zero waste challenge. In doing so we have found unique and novel ways to use olive pits as thermal energy for our mills, we recycle the pulp as compost and fertilizer which is put back onto the groves…due to the health benefits of olive leaf, we have developed Olive Leaf Extracts through Wellgrove, and beautiful Olive Leaf teas via our brand Stone & Grove. The recent launch of Four Pillars Olive Leaf Gin used Ultra Premium Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Olive Leaf from the Cobram Estate Groves.

What is Extra Virgin Olive Oil ?

Extra Virgin Olive Oil is simply the juice of fresh olives. In the same way that if you squeeze a fresh orange you get delicious orange juice. If you squeeze a rotting orange- you get rotten orange juice. The same goes for olives. Our fruit never touches the ground, the olives are picked at optimum ripeness and ultra cold pressed within 4hours of being picked. The speed is important as antioxidants degrade over time, so pressing within 4 hours locks in the antioxidants and freshness into the oil.
