FORAGING WORKSHOPSChris runs foraging workshops to teach identification and empathy to the natural world. She has an interest in ethnobotany and looks at the uses of seaweeds and weeds in the kitchen and garden. Connecting people to their local natural environment.

CHRIS ROCKLEY STUDIOSCreates and supplies visual and observation tools for Marine related projects for graphic designers, artists, educators and scientists. Includes nature illustrations (colour and b/w), photography, design and textile solutions.
NATURAL SCIENCE WORKSHOPSAll workshops combine a drawing medium with field work. The focus is on building your observation and recording skills. A mix of recording media is encouraged including sketches, colour notations, research, photography and video.
Chris has run numerous workshops over the last 13 years as well as teaching at University and TAFE level. These have been with community, artist groups, schools and Teaching PD's in NSW, QLD and Victoria.
She welcome inquiries from schools and interest groups in Melbourne and regional Victoria. Workshops can be customised to suit your needs and local environment ie marine and aquatic habitats. They mix science and art together and appeal to visual and practical learners. Helping put the A in the STEAM education system.
