Centre for Non Violence
Since 1990, the Centre for Non Violence has been delivering quality services to women and children.The result of an operational review was the development of an Integrated Client Services Division within CNV. The integrated programs aim to reduce barriers to integration between the various CNV programs and other parts of the system that responds to family violence and demonstrates our commitment to service integration in the response to family violence in our community.
In 2014 the state government announced the statewide implementation of the Risk Assessment Management Panel(RAMP) program. The multi-agency Risk Assessment and Management Panels bring together key agencies including Victoria Police, Child Protection, Child FIRST, Housing, Health, Corrections and family violence agencies to share information and plan around the safety of women and children at serious and imminent risk from family violence.
