CAINZ is a commerce-centric, not-for-profit student organisation, established at the University of Melbourne in 2011 with the purpose of bridging classroom theory and industry practice.

Although initially focusing on finance, many of the club’s emerging activities attracted students of different disciplines and the club has experienced steady growth, reaching over 400 members in 2014 and on track to reach a similar figure in 2015, while also expanding to RMIT University. Over just a few years, CAINZ has come to produce its own weekly business news publication, hold a variety of successful networking events and facilitate workshops focused on developing professional skills and knowledge.

The emphasis of CAINZ is on student development – striving to develop individuals as a whole to be forward thinking. Through our core activities, we endeavour to impart useful skills, practical knowledge as well as exposure to financial and economic developments on the global stage.
