Brodie Smith - Education Officer CBCity

The City of Canterbury Bankstown covers an area of 72 square kilometres and with a population of over 350,000 is the most populous council in New South Wales. The city stretches from Earlwood in the east to Picnic Point in the south and Chester Hill is the north.

Despite the large population the city has a wonderful array of natural areas, particularly along the Cooks and Georges Rivers with a variety of local flora and fauna. To promote and celebrate this natural diversity the City of Canterbury Bankstown hosts educational events throughout the year
