Australian Dance Party, a new dancing voice.

We are a collective of Canberra's contemporary dance artists driven to create fun, bold and urgent site specific dance work that challenges ideals of this contemporary time.

For us dance goes beyond the theatre. We create new dance work in ordinary and extraordinary spaces harnessing the power and playfulness of the human body and collaborating art forms to feel connected to this time and this place. We are curious to expose the role of dance in inspiring thinking and feeling in today’s world.

As a non-profit organisation we aim to establish and sustain careers for dance artists through the creation and presentation of work and investment in artistic development and creative practice.
