Who are we?
We are a group of Hong Kongers living in Melbourne (Victoria Hongkongers) , who are gravely concerned with the situation at home in Hong Kong. Since June this year, we volunteered to host various events in support to Hong Kong’s democracy movement.
9th June – Rally from State Library of Victoria to Department of Foreign Affair and Trade (attended by ~600 people)
16th June – Assembly at State Library of Victoria attended by ~500 people. The collection of 10,000 petition signatures urging the Scott Morrison government to support the Hong Kong movement.
28th July – Assembly at Parliament House attended by ~400 people. The signing of Lennon Wall was also created.
31th August – Assembly at State Library of Victoria (in association with Victoria Hong Kong Tertiary Student Association ) attended by ~500 people.
我們是誰?
我們是一班身居墨爾本卻同樣非常關心香港的香港人(澳洲維港）。 自今年六月起，我們義務發起各類活動以支持香港的民主運動。
6月9日 - 從維多利亞州立圖書館集會遊行到澳洲外貿部集會 (約600人參加)。
6月16日 - 於維多利亞州立圖書館舉行集會活動，參與人數達500人。當日我們同時收集了約10,000份請願簽名，轉交及敦促自由黨Scott Morrison政府積極支持香港。
7月28日 - 在國會大廈舉行集會，約400人參加； 墨爾本連儂牆正式啟用。
8月31日 - 聯合維州專上學生聯盟於維多利亞州立圖書館舉行集會，約500人參與。
