Amy Layton is a qualified primary school teacher, counsellor and yoga teacher.

Amy became interested in Yoga after experiencing Chronic Fatigue in 2010/2011. She found that yoga was the one thing that helped in promoting balance and reconnection to body and mind.

She strongly believes that yoga can help people to connect with their true self. Learning how to start trusting and believing that it is safe for that truth to shine through.

She went on to complete 500hours of Yoga Teacher Training with Mark Breadner, (YogaCoach) where she found that in the development of deeper understanding of philosophy and the practice of yoga, helped greatly in her counselling practice, whilst teaching in primary schools.

Amy loves learning, and is committed to developing knowledge and skills to better support individuals that she works with. She is currently continuing training in trauma based yoga, mindfulness and yoga for emotional balance as well as how to support children and teens through yoga and it’s links to mental health.

Amy owns a small yoga and counselling business called Body Mind Co Counselling & Yoga, and is passionate about supporting children, teens and adults to reach their fullest potential.
