Amanda is passionate about living fully, self discovery and connection.


Over the past ten years Amanda has worked as a Youth Facilitator, running various self empowerment programs, workshops, camps and seminars. During this time she studied a Bachelor of Art, Visual Art and Photography, Diploma of Youth Work and a Diploma of Transpersonal Art Therapy. 

Amanda now runs workshops and camps as a community facilitator supporting children and young people involved in the child protections system. Amanda aims to use her skills in art therapy and group facilitation to journey with clients into a space that they can connect with their own intuition and inner knowing, to find the tools to fulfil their potential and live a meaningful life.

Amanda specialises in working with children, teenagers and young adults and has worked with themes such as loneliness and isolation, depression and anxiety, grief, loss, trauma and spiritual crises. Amanda believes that the healing is inside us, and offers guidance to find that within ourselves.
My approach begins with developing a safe space for a client to enter into, or continue on, a journey of self-discovery

I will journey alongside the client, focussing on strengthening their ego and personality in relating to the world, expanding their perspective, and developing a connection to their spirit and purpose. I will encourage those I work with to explore their unconscious world and significant internal experiences and patterns, bringing light, awareness and healing. 

What is Art Therapy?

Art therapy uses creative processes, including art making, drama, and movement to improve and enhance physical, mental and emotional well-being. Art therapy works by accessing imagination and creativity, to develop a more integrated sense of self, with increased self awareness and acceptance.

Art Therapy can help us to find and create our life story, find meaning, purpose and direction in our life. The process can help us to heal ourselves and others and reach our full potential.

What is Transpersonal Art Therapy?

Transpersonal Art Therapy uses a psycho-spiritual approach to counselling, recognises a spectrum of consciousness, including altered states, dreams, intuition and a collective consciousness, and accesses creativity to work through problems and issues.

Transpersonal Art Therapy encourages self awareness which leads to authenticity and personal empowerment, is client centred and based on the Shamanic Model, encourages holistic healing by considering mind, body, spirit and environment.
