We work with partners in the Indo-Pacific region to collectively improve sustainable and climate-resilient water resource management.

Our role is to support the water resource management and planning needs of countries, responding to demand for Australia’s expertise to tackle existing and future water issues in the region.

To make a real impact, effective collaboration with diverse partners and stakeholders is critical. Our partnerships ensure our activities respond to water management needs in ways that are relevant, meaningful, equitable and sustainable, while aligning with existing efforts and priorities.

Working in partnership enables sustainable development outcomes while also contributing to Australian diplomatic objectives.
