The Illawarra Festival of Architecture & Design celebrates architecture in this extraordinary region. The extreme environment we live, nestled in the forest, captured between escarpment and sea, encourages and even insists on a creative and artistic approach to design.

Through a series of family friendly events we welcome a community to unite to celebrate what we're achieving together to build in ways that make this place better to live and enjoy. Here we welcome a conversation about innovative ideas, and join architects, designers and others in our industry who have charted a new course toward building resilience into their approach.
