Jenni Cargill-Strong
Jenni is a nationally recognised storyteller and educator with thirty years experience telling and twenty years experience teaching storytelling. She tells her stories eye to eye and heart to heart, engaging listeners with her warm, welcoming and expressive style. Jenni toured schools in Australia and New Zealand for seven years and has five award-winning story albums. She has been an invited presenter and workshop leader at online storytelling gatherings and conferences in the US and is a part-time academic at Southern Cross University, teaching storytelling for educators, change-makers and healers. Jenni is available for storytelling performances, workshops, story coaching, school shows and staff in-services.
She offers school shows, public concerts and festival performances for adults or children, as well as face-to face and online training in storytelling, environmental storytelling and public speaking, including private coaching. Jenni teaches for the Storytelling Unit at Southern Cross University as a sessional academic to student teachers and is a trained facilitator of Joyality as well as labyrinth rituals. Jenni is now based in Meanjin, or Brisbane, after living in the Northern Rivers for twenty years, where she raised her two children.
