Janette Padinis
I am a married mother of three, residing in the beautiful bayside suburb of Aspendale. My professional background is in teaching and working with disadvantaged youth, but my true passion lies in empowering individuals to reach their full potential.
My journey as a Davis Dyslexia facilitator began when my middle child was diagnosed with severe dyslexia. Despite the school's reassurances, I could sense that something was amiss. My son had cleverly devised his own strategies to cope with his learning difficulties, but the negative self-talk was beginning to take hold as he compared himself to his peers.
Determined to help him, I delved into extensive research on various programs and approaches. It wasn't until I came across the Davis program, after reading the book 'The Gift of Dyslexia' by Ron Davis, that I finally found a solution that resonated with my son's learning style.
The Davis program is unique in that it works with the strengths of the dyslexic learning style, providing personalized strategies to correct dyslexia. It was incredible to witness the transformation in my son after completing the Davis Reading Program for Young Learners. He gained the confidence and self-esteem that he had been lacking and was equipped with personal tools to take control of his learning.
My experience inspired me to become a Davis Dyslexia facilitator myself. I am passionate about helping individuals discover their own solutions and become empowered with knowledge, skills, and personal tools to overcome their learning challenges and achieve their goals. Let's work together to unlock your full potential!
