Canberra Region Honey Weekend

A collaboration between Honey Merchant and Canberra Region local beekeeper Nemori Honey Bees, to highlight to differing flavours of Capital Region honeys.

Honey Merchant founder, Jessica Locarnini, is Australia's only working Honey Sommelier. Classically trained in Italy and based in Melbourne, she is dedicated to developing appreciation and love of local honey flavours through honey tasting pairing and education.

Nemori Honey Bees is a family owned and operated beekeeping business based in Yass River, producing honey, wax and other products of the hive. With hives situated on Nemori Flower Farm in the Box Gum Grassy Woodlands of the picturesque Yass Valley, their bees are ethically managed, resulting in seasonal variety honey that is simply delicious.

Together we are on a mission to showcase Capitol Region honey varieties and bring local honeys into the publics essential ingredient lists.
