Dr Susanne Armstrong
Bio - Susanne has lived experience advisory and research roles with national, state and regional suicide prevention and mental health organisations in Australia. She is an experienced facilitator, grief counsellor, nurse, adult educator and mental health peer worker. Susanne's Doctor of Creative Arts thesis researched the intergenerational transference of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and family violence. She explored the utilisation of creative writing and art to generate recovery and post-traumatic growth (PTG). Her Masters degree in Training and Development investigated workforce performance improvement. Susanne has held senior management roles in government, private sector, community-based health and welfare organisations. She is passionate about people, social justice, holistic health, the arts and protecting our environment for future generations.
