About this Event
This is a case study of a Red Team assessment that we undertook at a client of ours – a critical infrastructure operator in Australia. The objective was to determine how resilient the organisation was against current and emerging threats. The entity is highly sophisticated, has made significant investment in modern technology and outsources specific functions to specialist firms. The entity also has a robust risk management framework and has achieved and maintains an ISO27001 compliance.
The objectives of the assessment include:
- Compromising the domain
- Identifying and accessing sensitive data and exfiltrating the data
- Accessing core critical systems
About the presenter:
Murray Goldschmidt is the Executive Director for Cyber Capability, Education and Training at CyberCX – Australia’s leading cyber security services firm.
Murray is an industry-recognised information security expert providing advice across the spectrum, from the boardroom to the basement across the region’s elite corporate entities to government agencies. His credentials include CISSP, IRAP and PCI QSA certifications and he is an honorary life member of the Australian Information Security Association.
