Zen and the Art of Law
This half day workshop on wellness and resilience for lawyers, law students, legal academics, and other hard working professionals will include:
• a panel discussion about experiencing stress and anxiety in the workplace and at university,
• an update about the latest academic research,
• a discussion about the systemic causes of professional stress, and
• a presentation about healthy approaches to stress management.
Legal practitioners will be eligible to earn up to 3 CPD points for their attendance.
The industry cost is $99 (students $49). Morning tea and buffet lunch will be served and will be followed by The Global Legal Professional symposium.
The Global Legal Professional
During this symposium on the global legal profession, a panel of three high profile guest speakers and three members from the Bond University Centre for Professional Legal Education will discuss and debate what it means to be a global legal professional, and what it will take to prepare graduates and the profession for the international stage.
Legal practitioners will be eligible to earn up to 2 CPD points for their attendance.
A cocktail function will follow the event to officially launch the Centre for Professional Legal Education. Winners of the Transnational, International and Comparative Law and Policy Network (TICLP) interdisciplinary poster presentation “Challenges & Opportunities for Australia in the 21st Century" will also be announced.
