What does it take to make the Forbes Top 30 under 30, Crain’s Top 40 under 40 and Empact 100 lists and the frenetic world of high finance in New York? Savneet Singh knows the answer, and is flying to Melbourne for YSPN to share this with you.
Savneet Singh, a former tennis prodigy who defeated Andy Roddick at a tennis camp as a teenager, chose instead to make his mark on the world through startups. He is now an Investment Banker turned Entrepreneur who has been at the forefronts of global finance.
Following a successful career in Investment Banking at Morgan Stanley advising CEOs on multi-billion dollar deals, Savneet left the world of banking to become a Hedge Fund analyst at one of the most venerable hedge funds in America, the Chilton Investment Company.
This professional training helped Savneet identify the market opportunity that resulted in him founding Gold Bullion International (GBI) - the first electronic gold trading platform which lists major Australian banks as clients. Today, after a successful exit from GBI, Savneet splits his time as an investor and advisor to Fintech startups, that will make a profound impact on our lives.
At this event, Savneet will discuss his career at the peaks of finance, the role his Sikh faith played in his success and the best tech startups and investments and how they will impact all of us.
