Description

Photo story: Cockatoo Island

Ferry out to the spectacular shipyards of Cockatoo Island for an adventurous photography workshop. Build skills in using digital SLR cameras and learn photo editing techniques. Have your photos printed and exhibited in a special exhibition at the museum.

This course is held in partnership with Spitting Image Photography and the Sydney Harbour Federation Trust. Cameras for the workshop are provided by Spitting Image Photography.

Suitable to all levels of experience.

  • Arrive in the museum foyer for registration 5–10 minutes prior to the program.
  • Parents/carers will be required to sign permission forms on the day.
  • Participants are fully supervised for this program.
  • Participants should bring their own lunch/snacks or money to buy lunch from the museum kiosk.
  • All equipment for the workshop is provided.
  • Wear suitable clothing, sturdy shoes and sun protection for outdoors
