The Vic Park Arts Season and Hawaiian have teamed up with local Perth mural artist Sioux Tempestt to present a fun creative learning experience. In the first workshop you'll help design a modern contemporary mural , which you'll then help to paint on a wall at The Park Centre. You don't need to be an artist to participate, as the style of design isn't realism - just bring plenty of enthusiasm!

You'll work through ideas with Sioux, exploring themes, design, colour palette and composition. You might sketch up with pencil on paper, or rip up coloured paper, or draw on an iPad (if you have one). Sioux will then take elements of each participants design to create one artwork.

Then in the following mural painting workshop (date TBA), you'll help Sioux paint the mural at Hawaiian's Park Centre using Dulux paints, brushes, rollers and some aerosols. Super fun!
