Learn how to better assist and support young people who may be experiencing a mental health problem or who are in a mental health crisis.

You will learn the signs and symptoms of mental health problems, where and how to get help, what sort of help has been shown by research to be effective, and how to provide first aid in a crisis situation.

COURSE INFORMATION

• 2 day course
• Topics include: depression, anxiety, psychosis, eating disorders, substance use, suicide and more
• Participants receive a copy of the Youth MHFA manual and a certificate of attendance
• 3-Year YMHFA Accreditation on completion of post- quiz test
• Morning tea and afternoon tea provided.
