Youth Forum 2.0
Coming back even stronger in 2017
Following on from our successful 2016 Youth Forums, we invite you to come along to our exciting Youth Forum 2.0 - cementing the previous learnings as well as growing our youth network in WA and meeting and working with young people from all our Award Units.
Run during National Youth Week, the focus is on 'Eco-Futures' aiming to highlight the environment, technology and futures of young people. We are very excited to have as our Key Note Speaker - Suzy Urbaniak, Kent Street SHS Award Leader, Geoscientist and recipient of the 2016 Prime Minister's Prize for Excellence in Science.
Other topics covered
- Equipping you with a deeper understanding and appreciation of the Award and the positive impact it can have for your future life and work (employability)
- Youth Award Leader opportunities and how to become one within your Award Unit
- Learn about our partners and how they can help you through your Award journey - eg: Leeuwin Ocean Adventures, Act Belong Commit, Cockburn Ice Arena and Perth Choral Institute
We would love to see returning as well as new young people to our Forum.
Be excited - get involved
