About this event

The joy of living your life with grace and zest is a wonderful experience.

Co-hosted by Sadie, Health and Wellness coach and Dawn, Dru Yoga and Meditation teacher you will enjoy a 5 hour guided workshop and learn some new insights into fostering a sense of balance and clarity.

Let us shine light on the art of 'just being' with inspiring conversations and gentle yoga movements.

Leave feeling a sense of energy, inspiration, motivation and relaxation.

Participant workbooks will be provided. Please bring your own pen and notebook if you wish.

We recommend wearing comfortable clothing and please bring along your yoga mat, blanket and pillow for the relaxation.

Light refreshments provided, BYO snacks & water.

Sadie has over two decades of experience in the community wellbeing and project space. She is a Health and Wellness coach and owns her own coaching and event business.

With a heartfelt passion for human connectedness, and a desire for collaboration and togetherness, Sadie will guide you to fill the gap between yourself and the life you would like to lead. Interactive, informative, and inspiring opportunities are available throughout the year to energise, inspire and motivate others to live a wholesome life with balance and clarity.

Sadie spends time sharing insights, tips, and strategies, and generates a safe space to have grounded and organic conversations that create a sense of curiosity and optimism for the participants.

Your Wellness, Your Way. An event that Sadie hosts as her main wellness event delivered in metro and regional Adelaide. Sadie invites other guest speakers and facilitators to join her along the way.

Events, workshops, and one-to-one coaching have a key focus on the act of behaviour change, mental wellness, and self-preservation, along with interactive activities to stimulate enthusiasm and curiosity.

Sadie’s self-published book may also inspire you to live your own life with grace and zest. One thing is for certain: we all need to enjoy every moment and treasure the simple things in life.

Enjoy reading about Sadie’s lived experience and personal discovery, and her recent health hiccup. She has given herself a nickname - the ‘adversity pivoter’. Available for purchase events and workshops.

A registered Dru Yoga and Meditation Teacher, Dawn teaches weekly classes at the SA Aquatic & Leisure Centre, Oaklands Park and Kauri Community Centre, Seacliff.

Along with health professionals, Dawn regularly co-facilitates wellness workshops, yoga retreats and presents at corporate wellness events.

With a background in corporate management and aviation, helping others to bring yoga and meditation practices into the home or workplace is one of Dawn's many skills. Supporting individuals to destress, feel more present and comfortable in their bodies and to achieve their chosen work/life goals is one of her great passions.

What is Dru Yoga?

Dru Yoga is a graceful and potent form of yoga, based on soft flowing movements, directed breathing and visualization. With its foundations set firmly in ancient yogic tradition, Dru works on body, mind and spirit—improving strength and flexibility, creating core stability, building a heightened feeling of positivity, deeply relaxing and rejuvenating your whole being.

Designed to be practised by people of all abilities, all fitness levels and all age groups, Dru is a style of yoga that can be quickly dipped into or learnt in more depth over a lifetime.

Dru comes from the Sanskrit word for the North Star Dhruva, and is reflective of the stillness that can be experienced in both Dru Yoga and Dru Meditation. In the stillness we are able to sit back from everything happening around us, and see and act from a point of clarity and inner calm.

A regular practice of Dru Yoga may assist to:

• Reduce stress and tension

• Ease back pain, headaches and other physical discomfort

• Improve energy levels and vitality

• Develop better relationships with yourself and others
