We’re inviting you to come along to our free information session. We’ll provide you with insider tips and insights into everything there is to know about applying for and attending medical school in New Zealand and Australia.

Delivered by current medical students at The University of Auckland and University of Otago, the session will provide comprehensive information about:

  • Choosing a career in medicine (why it might be for you)
  • The academic requirements for getting accepted into medicine (GPA, UMAT, etc.)
  • Gaining admission into medical school in New Zealand (The University of Auckland and University of Otago)
  • The interview system (MMI) at The University of Auckland
  • Applying to Australian medical schools
  • The academic life of a medical student (pre-clinical and clinical years)
  • Common misconceptions about applying for and completing medical school

The session will also feature a Q&A with current medical students from the University of Auckland and the University of Otago!
