About this event
This session provides information specific to younger people diagnosed with dementia and their carers, exploring the unique impacts of younger onset dementia.
You will gain knowledge in:
- types of younger onset dementia, signs and symptoms
- the experience of living with dementia
- effective communication strategies and support.
Suitable for: People living with younger onset dementia and their family carers and family members. This program is not suitable for professionals employed in the health or aged care sectors.
Dementia Australia's facilitators have specialist dementia knowledge, skills and experience. This session is delivered interactively, you will be encouraged to share your experiences alongside other participants giving you an opportunity to develop new support networks.

How do I access the online session?
A staff member will email you a link to access the zoom session. If you have not used Zoom previously our team member will provide support before the event to ensure you can join in with ease.
What happens if the date and time don't suit me?
