Description

A fun packed workshop will cover:

Understanding and practicing breathing exercises and progressive muscle relaxation to better cope with everyday stress

Understanding and practicing happiness exercises such as “when one door closes another opens”, “discover and use your strengths and “ a gratitude exercise” to become happier and more resilient

Prerequisites to attend this workshop: Curiosity, plus a Willingness to learn and practice various relaxation and happiness techniques

Our Speaker:

Alice Farcas is a PhD Candidate in School of Psychology and Speech Pathology, at Curtin University. As a psychologist and migrant, she is especially interested in the well-being and happiness of people from diverse cultural backgrounds. She has more than 6 years’ experience in providing workshops on mental health topics and more than 4 years’ experience in providing psychological interventions to help people to live happy and meaningful lives
