Young Engineers, Electronics and Robotics Workshop
Event Information
About this event
Step into the world of robots and electronics with Binary Designer. This course will be teaching young minds to apply their imagination to open pathways to engineering, 3D printing, robotics, and much more!
We will be conducting a three-day workshop from Monday 17th January to Wednesday 19th, from 9AM to 12PM (3hrs each day). Students will be provided with a learner kit which they can take home after the event. We'll be making our way through electronic components and learning about the use of electricity in our world.
Then we'll apply this knowledge to making our very own self-driving cars using electronic components, and frames created using laser cutting and 3D printing. After assembling these cars, we'll test out our coding skills by programming the cars to navigates mazes by themselves.
Suitable for grades 6 - 11.
Dates:
- 17th Monday: Introduction and Basics
- 18th Tuesday: Electric Motors and Vehicle Assembly
- 19th Wednesday: Navigating the Maze
