Description

Yoga is the perfect tool for children to understand mindfullness. They learn to let go of stress and anxiety while improving strength and flexibility. Led by instructor Jacqui Entwisle, children are encouraged to grab their Mum's yoga mat and join us for 1 hour where they will learn cobra pose, balance on one leg and become aware of their breathing.

Children use the games and activities that we do to navigate the tricky world we live in and it's a way for them to learn how to calm themselves down, centre themselves, and know there's a place within them they can go when they need to. A study has found mindfulness programs improve mental health, sleep quality, concentration, wellbeing, the ability to manage and describe emotions, and reduces tension. For the busy lives our children lead, take 1 hour a week to learn this valuable life skill. A fun and engaging class for kids whilst the parents can chill and have a coffee and breakfast in the cafe, because we care about your wellbeing too!

Various yoga poses

Meditation and breathing techniques

WHAT WILL I BRING?

A yoga mat if you have one, but don't worry The Maker Movement have spares.
