Yoga Warm Up - 25 mins
Power Living is Australia's premier yoga business and has partnered with the Great Ocean Road Running Festival to support you throughout your race day experience. Join Ruby Dwyer for a pre-run yoga warm up where we’ll be targeting the core muscles you’ll be pumping throughout the race. A gentle stretch session, we’ll warm up the muscles to get you supple and prepped for the race ahead. Plus get balanced and ease out any race-day nerves with some gentle breathing exercises.

Yoga has found Ruby at different stages throughout her life, like an old friend returning again and again to provide comfort and help us in our uncovering of this magical life. As a child, Ruby remembers flicking through her parents yoga books and being fascinated with the shapes and angles of the bodies. Then, as a young teenager Ruby’s Mum dragged her to her first yoga class at the local school hall, which she secretly loved but resisted with great force! Yoga returned to Ruby during her dance studies at university when she finally accepted it into her life with open arms.
Having completed her Teacher Training with Power Living in 2014, Ruby is passionate about intelligent alignment and uncovering our true nature - unity between body mind and soul. As well as continuing her studies in the Power Living 500hr Training she has also learnt from Rod Stryker, Ana Forrest and Simon Park. She teaches from a joyful heart combined with a creative energy and playful nature.
