Event Information
About this Event
This weekend intensive training is designed to upskill yoga professionals to understand the need for trauma sensitivity in the yoga setting, and to translate the best international research in to practice in order to use yoga as a body based form of adjunctive therapy. Developed with input from mental health professionals, this training will help you communicate better and improve the well-being of people with trauma history and those experiencing mental health challenges such as anxiety and depression.
Your lead facilitator is experienced trainer Chandrika Gibson, a naturopath, yoga therapist (C-IAYT) and researcher who is skilled in bringing forth your strengths and talents, to help you thrive as a yoga teacher, and allow you to broaden your offerings to include a more diverse range of students.
