Event description

Description

Yoga for the Mind is an ancient spiritual practice that gives you balance, strength and flexibility, so that you can handle life’s changes and challenges with dignity, poise and ease.

NO NEED FOR YOGA MATS
Yoga for the Mind is not about standing on your head, its about standing on your own two feet and getting grounded in the ancient wisdom of Vedanta; a philosophy that originated in Himalayas over 10,000 years ago.

The Facilitator

Meredith Forder is a philosopher and Self Management consultant, who presents insights about our modern-day epidemics — stress, anxiety, fear, addictions, divorce and depression — and provides a refreshing way to overcome them.

What People Say

"The knowledge that Meredith has taught me about how to live life has helped me more than any psychologist or therapist I have ever been to." –Karen Rogerson

"Every time I attend one of Meredith’s classes, workshops or retreats I come away feeling refreshed, with clear direction and purpose in my life." –Mike Clarke

"I was trying to find inner peace for years and wondered if it would ever happen to me. But after listening to Meredith, it happened like a switch button. So quickly everything started making sense… And today I feel so peaceful and happy." –Camila Ciacola

"Meredith imparts the most practical knowledge I’ve ever known, which I make use of everyday of my life. Her classes are inspirational." –Tony Maceri

It’s free if you want it to be. Although donations are welcome.

Vedanta Institute Perth (VIP) is a non-profit-organisation, which relies on donations. In this class, we practice the ancient Indian tradition called Gurudakshina, which is giving back to the Guru out of respect and gratitude for what has been given.
