Event description

Description

Vedanta is an ancient yoga for the mind. It is the highest yoga, because it deals with our inner personality—and unites us with our true Self.

Vedanta stretches and strengthens our inner personality so that we gain complete health, lasting peace, love, joy and contentment. Most importantly, Vedanta gives us the wisdom to handle life's challenges with dignity, poise and ease.

As one of our class members said: “The things that Vedanta teaches us about how to live our life has helped me more than any psychologist or therapist I have ever been to.”

Join us for this unique spiritual experience and learn how to incorporate the ancient yoga of Vedanta into your daily life—filling your life with peace, love, joy and contentment.

Please arrive by 6.20pm. Doors close at 6.30pm for our meditative practice to begin.

I was always so anxious and reactive to everything, but I’m now I'm learning how to control these emotions and finding more peace and happiness as a result." —Flavia Giardino

"Having like minded people with which to discuss Vedanta philosophy is exciting as well as enlightening. I come away from every class feeling a powerful sense of unity not only with my fellow participants but with the wider community." —Kim Richardson

Giving Back

There is an ancient Indian tradition called Gurudakshina, which means giving back to the Guru (spiritual teacher), out of respect and gratitude for what has been given.

The suggested donation is $10 for first-timers, students or concession-card holders. Or $15—$20 for those who have benefited from the teachings.

The attitude of giving is essential for spiritual development. Unless we develop this attitude we will continue to suffer in life.

The law of life is that the more we give, the more peace, harmony, happiness and contentment we will have.
