Description

As a keen yogi I found a huge improvement in my weekly bike rides through my regular practice of yoga. Increased strength, flexibility and breathing all which have made my time on the bike more enjoyable (and I can talk while riding uphill!) I would love to share my class with other cyclists to improve their performance and recovery while riding too. My classes will focus on breathing, stretching and strengthening the key muscles cyclists use while riding. Using yoga asanas that will work on opening up your chest, shoulders and back that can be tightened from being hunched over the handlebars. We will also focus on building core strength for stability and practicing asanas to stretch out tight glutes, hamstrings and calves, improving your flexibility, comfort and recovery. My classes won't be super relaxing... actually make sure you bring a towel and water bottle and be prepared to feel a little burn.... holding Utkatasana pose is like climbing Artillery Hill in a low gear. If you want results, you have to work for them! But don't worry all my classes end with savasana (the yoga class equivalent of a coffee after a hard ride). Looking forward to seeing you on the mat! * Classes are limited to 12 cycling yogis. Please note cancellations must be made 7 days prior to event to receive a refund. No refunds given for late cancellations.
