Anxiety is a condition that afflicts more of us than ever before. We live in a world where we're constantly tethered to technology, absorbing information at an unprecedented rate, chronically rest-deprived like never before and flooded with hormones that cause stress, anxiety and burnout. Over time, this can wreak havoc on our minds and bodies leaving us at risk of sleep disorders, high blood pressure, digestive disorders, obesity, autoimmune diseases, adrenal problems, depression and heart disease. She's also a blogger, entrepreneur, social media influencer, skydiver, freediver, scuba diver, surfer and vegan. Emma has over 1000 hours of yoga teacher training and experience teaching classes, sold out workshops, retreats and teacher trainings all over the globe. Emma has taught this workshop over 50 times across Australian cities such as Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Adelaide, Canberra, Cairns as well as America, Europe and Asia. She shares her experience of growing up with anxiety, the stress that comes with this fast-paced modern lifestyle and how she manages day-to-day with practical and accessible yoga techniques. Emma first found yoga as a therapy for anxiety and depression and it set her on a wellness journey that changed her life forever. She's now made it her heart's purpose to share yoga for the mental, emotional and energetic benefits and specialises in yoga for stress, anxiety, depression and trauma. Her self-reflective teachings focus on how yoga feels, rather than how it looks. Each class begins and ends with savasana and Emma aims to hold a safe space for realness, depth, and to transform hardship into spiritual growth. Leave feeling a little more grounded, a little more connected and a whole lot of love.

I recently attended Emma's Yoga Workshop in Paris and gained so much from the experience. Emma is a true inspiration and it's impossible not to be swept up in her passion for yoga. She also knows her subject inside out, so you know you're in safe hands, and she's a lovely person too. As a result of attending the workshop, I now intend to take up yoga properly. — Caroline Harrap, Paris France

I recently attended Emma's Yoga for Anxiety Workshop in Adelaide and I can highly recommend this for anyone who has an interest in learning tools to create a calm environment, whether you experience mild levels of stress or extreme anxiety. Emma shared her own story with a room filled with strangers, making it a comfortable and safe space for others to share. A beautiful soul, I look forward to sharing in Emma's presence again in the future. Thank you Emma x — Jo Flynn, Adelaide Australia

I wish I'd come a lot earlier in my time living with anxiety. I felt instantaneous relief! The highlight for me was hearing Emma's story. I had read about Emma's story but to hear her so bravely talk about it out loud was something else. I could have sat there and listened all day and I could relate in so many ways too. Please come back to Sydney more often! — Katie Bullivant, Sydney Australia

When I left the Yoga for Anxiety Workshop I felt light and relaxed (properly relaxed). The theory was educational and all very relevant. The practical component was surprisingly very helpful! I loved the exercises and I can see them helping me in the future. I feel grateful to have learnt so much in such little time and I feel confident in managing my anxiety moving forward. — Paige Campbell, Brisbane Australia

I really enjoyed your Yoga for Anxiety Workshop this afternoon! On the drive home I was smiling from ear to ear and I felt sooo centred. I've been clinging on to so much negativity for so long and your workshop really helped me let go. I honestly did not want it end. I felt so blissful and weightless. I forgot what it felt like to be happy and it reminded me that I can find everything I need inside. — Evie Truong, Perth Australia

Emma is so lovely and down to earth, I can't thank her enough for the experience. It's difficult to put it into words, but not only for the yoga practice she led (perfect for beginners but beneficial for all), but also for being so open - sharing her story and experience, genuine and creating a welcoming, supportive space. Her courage, dedication and commitment to not only her own health and wellbeing, but wanting to help others too is just so admirable and inspiring. She is just the most beautiful soul. It's no wonder her workshops sell out, if you have the opportunity to attend one dive in. — Kira Stra, Adelaide Australia
