Anxiety is everywhere. It's in those days where we feel so restless that it's hard to sit still, those times where obsessive thinking and worry consume us, but especially those crappy moments where panic cripples us and we feel completely alone. Statistics show that anxiety is now Australia's most prevalent mental illness. Over time, it takes it's toll on your self-perceptions, relationships, quality of life and health, leading to insomnia, high blood pressure, fatigue, obesity, depression, heart disease and cancer. But there's a range of strategies and techniques we can try to alleviate anxiety and yoga is absolutely one of them.

This simple, easeful 2 hour workshop with Emma Ceolin will take you on a journey to soften back into yourself again and explore yoga as a tool to calm the nervous system and cultivate balance. Here you'll create and understanding around anxiety and learn how to identify symptoms, handle triggers, and part-take in let-go practices that interrupt anxious thought patterns. Expect theory, pranayama (breathing), asana (poses) and meditation (relaxation).

You’ll also be gifted with raw chocolate, Yoga for Anxiety eBook, and recommendations for other great resources like apps, podcasts and books to manage your anxiety. Leave this transformative workshop feeling grounded and balanced with the tools you need to give the very best version of yourself to the world.

This workshop is for everyone, of all backgrounds, experiences, size and age. All yoga postures will be practiced in a supportive, safe environment and suitable for absolute beginners. Please keep in mind this class is not individually tailored for special needs, pregnancies, pre-existing physical injuries, pain or concerns, and if present you should consult with your physician before commencing.


Emma Ceolin is an international Yoga Teacher (RYT®500, E-RYT®200, RPYT®, RCYT®, YACEP®, IAYT®) who shares yoga for health, healing and happiness. She has over 1000hrs yoga teacher training and experience teaching classes, workshops, retreats and teacher trainings in Australia, United States, Europe and Asia. She's also the founder of YOGAVENTURES and a skydiver, freediver, scubadiver, surfer, vegan, uni student and entrepreneur. Emma first found yoga as a therapy for anxiety and depression and it set her on a wellness journey that changed her life. She's now made it her heart's purpose to share yoga for the mental and emotional benefits and specialises in yoga for stress, anxiety and depression. Her self-reflective teachings are based around the 'do what feels good' method. Leave her classes feeling more grounded, connected and held.

Can I trasnfer my ticket?

To transfer to a different event go to Tickets page of your Eventbrite account. Simply select your order/registration (under Upcoming Events), then click "Transfer."
