Most of our lives these days are about doing and going, so when we want to relax and switch off it is almost like we have forgotten how. Often not even trying until we fall in a heap or our bodies say 'no more'.
Over 2 hours we will gently guide your body into deep relaxation and find balance and peace through Yin Yoga and Yoga Nidra.
Yin Yoga is a floor based yoga practice using props and blankets to support the body into stretches targeting the facia. Each shape is gently held for 3-5mins to fully release deeply stored tension held in the body.
The Yoga Nidra is a guided meditation that takes you through different layers of the body and mind to bring peace and balance to your internal world.
This workshop is for you if you are feeling off balance, burnt out or not quite yourself and want to bring harmony back into your body and mind.
Mats, bolsters and blankets will be provided for everyone. You will just need to bring yourself, comfy clothes and a water bottle.
This workshop is open to everyone and we can find suitable adjustments to suit your body in each pose. No prior experience is necessary.
