Yin Yoga and Meditation Five week course:

Wednesdays 6:45- 7:45pm

14th July to 11th August (Round 1)

Yin yoga is a practice for slowing down, calming down and opening tight areas of the body. Yin is mostly a floor based practice of long holds that target the tight areas of the body that are dense in connective tissue - legs, hips and back. The release from yin yoga is much deeper and can enhance flexibility and relaxation creating a feeling of space within the body.

You will learn breath techniques to assist with the release and to soothe the nervous system. Yoga assists prepare the body and mind for seated meditation. You will experience a number of meditation techniques such as calm abiding breath, visualisation, gratitude and loving kindness. We will complete the practice with a guided relaxation ensure you leave feeling deeply calmed and restored.

This is the perfect antidote for a busy, stressful life. Suitable for all.
